CORONAVIRUS
ENTRY
We are studying the dynamics of spike proteins as they direct coronavirus entry into susceptible host cells.
CORONAVIRUS ASSEMBLY AND EGRESS
Additionally, we are studying the host cell organelles and vesicular transport systems that direct assembly and egress of coronaviruses.
EXTRACELLULAR
VESICLE BIOLOGY
We are also investigating extracellular vesicles to determine how they mediate “virus-like”
inter-cellular transfer of nucleic acids and proteins.
